Now at the young age of 57, Bruce Hall has decided in early retirement that he’s listened to enough people on the radio who don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. Handicapping NFL games since the early 70’s in college and writing articles about mostly baseball, Bruce has decided to share his insight, analysis and most importantly...his opinion on NFL games and how good the Vegas line is in relation to those games. Let’s face it, between fantasy leagues, roto-ball and the MILLIONS of men and women who bet every week on NFL games, there is definitely a shortage of people giving good analysis and advice on picking these winners. “I’ve handicapped the NFL and NCAA football since the early 70’s. I’ve had great years, good years and OK years, but NEVER a bad year. I figured it was time to have some fun on the air and develop a bigger audience than just my friends and clients. Last year I had a show on 106.7 The Fan in D.C., but I was on at 8am on Sunday mornings, a time that I thought was pretty ridiculous to attract a big enough audience to make it worthwhile doing it there again. It was like pulling teeth just talking to the Program Director there because he didn’t have a clue! NOW…I’m on AM 1230 WFAS in Westchester County, New York and bringing my message to a completely different market. My old fans can go online to hear the show (and they will!) and I figured this was a great opportunity to get my message to more people AND have some fun doing it.” Join Bruce and his sidekick, young Roy Edwards (Roy G) as they deliver Hall’s message every week. Hall considers Edwards a prodigy and a great person to bounce his ideas and statements off of during the show. “Roy has a website called “Sportsmancave.com” and has a huge following. He also has a ton of energy and really understands what it is I want and do each week. This kid is a budding star and he’s on with me every week.” Listen to Bruce & Roy as they hammer out each game in the NFL during their show on Sunday mornings at 10am. It’s like no other sports show you’ll ever listen to. “Hey, I’d love to have two hours to take phone calls and really tie in to the New York, Upper New Jersey and Connecticut communities but that’s not available now, so we’re going to give our audience the best Sunday morning show in our listening area.” Want to give Bruce YOUR "Second Opinion," shoot him an email at tickets@brucehallsports.com Tune in to "Bruce Hall's Second Opinion" and his passion for sports every Sunday morning at 11am on AM 1230 WFAS! |
