Anthony J. Truino, CFP® is a Senior Financial Planner and Investment Specialist with Barnum Financial Group, the nation’s #1 MetLife office for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.  Anthony develops wealth management strategies that help his clients to achieve their life ambitions: to retire in comfort, educate their children, and protect themselves and their families through long-term planning.

Anthony began his career as a Financial Advisor at Olde Financial Corporation. His years as a broker provided him with a deep understanding and appreciation of the power of financial markets, as well as their volatility. Since joining Barnum Financial Group in 2002, Anthony has been able to put his knowledge of investing to work within the context of a solid financial organization with a host of tools and resources geared towards meeting the individual needs of his clients.

Recognizing that tax planning is a vital part of a comprehensive financial plan, Anthony created a strategic alliance with John T. Dougherty, an experienced and highly successful CPA, in 2005. This partnership allows Anthony to offer high-level tax planning strategies to his clients. Anthony continued to assemble a team of top professionals with specialties in related fields, such as estate planning, mortgage brokerage, small business consulting and debt restructuring. This enhanced platform has led to rapid growth and an expanded clientele.

Today, Anthony can provide superior client service tailored to his clients’ goals and lifestyles. Utilizing his knowledge, experience and innovative ideas, he will work in an integrated manner to create customized financial solutions and enhanced opportunities for his clients.

Anthony is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Finance.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certificant from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards.

Anthony has earned several of MetLife’s top honors, including the MetLife Chairman’s Conference, MetLife Mystery Tour,  President’s Conference, Leaders Conference, and a member of the prestigious Inner Circle. He is an approved presenter for retirewise , an educational retirement program offered by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Anthony is also the President of the Foundation for Life**, which was established to improve the quality of life for children and families in need throughout Connecticut. The foundation has donated over $425,000 to various charities over the years. Serving as president of the foundation’s board of directors allows Anthony and his team to take part in the various charity events, and make a difference throughout the community.
